[CL9] Car thinks driver's door is always closed

Hey guys, has anyone come across this problem before?

My car thinks the driver's door is always closed.

All the other doors are fine, it's just the driver's door.

I had an auto-electrician check it out and they reckon it's the body control module.

Apparently there's a problem with just swapping a BCM over too.

So what should I do?
