Technical Guide Reference notes

1. Plug type is standard. For other driving conditions refer to Workshop manual.
   
2. Ensure SCS Service Coupler is fitted before setting ignition timing where applicable. All Specifications are at idle with automatics in Neutral/park unless otherwise indicated.
   
3. These are Base idle settings with the EACV/IAC disconnected. Make sure code is removed from the ECU after setting idle. Transmission should be in Neutral unless otherwise indicated.
   
4. Where two readings are given the first is with the pressure regulator vacuum hose disconnected and second with the hose reconnected.
   
5. Readings are taken with oil temperature at 80°C. First reading is at idle, second reading at 3000 rpm.
   
6. Wet figures are for drain and refill; dry are for overhaul. Engine oil volumes include filter.
   
7. Figures given are for drain and refill as per manual, include reservoir. Coolant is 50% minimum for all vehicles.
   
8. Non adjustable.
   
9. Space Saver spare.
   
10. Automatic transmission in gear.
    
11. CVT uses ATF.
