Wiring Amp through plug in firewall in 1996 EK1 Civic

Hey,

I searched around the site about wiring through the firewall in the Ek1 civic. People have mentioned about the plug near the battery tray. I just wanted to confirm if it is this one:

Also wondering if it is safe to put the wire through there.

That is the most common place people run their cables through the firewall. It is perfectly safe. I found it best to run the cable from inside the car then pass it through the firewall with a metal clothes hanger wrapped around the end of the power cable.
