Nano-paint coating question

I have the dealer nano-paint coating. (I'll expect some 'why did you get it done there? questions, I know...:() But, I have some small 'squished' insects from a drive to the Gold Coast, plus a small black surface scuff on bonnet front which is not easily moved, by the looks). Haven't really tried too hard yet, but what are peoples' favoured methods for dealing with stuff like this without interfering with the integrity of the coating. Happy to spend some money to get products I can use.
Someone at work has suggested a normal polish, carefully/lightly used, followed by Meguiar's Yellow wax to re-seal.
Experiences, anyone?
