hey i have a hard spot in the start of my accel any ideas as to where and what i can greese up to stop this ive spoayed wd40 in a few places but still to no effect has it changed???

Can you please refraze your question. I'm finding a bit hard to understand.
I have a similar problem.. although i was told it was to do with a butterfly valve in my carbs. I would check/replace accel cable, thats all I can give.

sounds like the throttle body is sticky - take off your intake pipe , and open your throttle - spray abit of carb cleaner aroudn and give abit of a scrub to get rid of excess gunk buiuld up around the edge.

By Hard spot do you mean slighty tougher to push through, or a spot where it goes rock hard for a sec then kinda breaks through.
Yep I have the same thing and its the carbs, you get used to it.. just have to keep your foot on the accel a lil bit.Quote:
