So removed the sump on my 95 Integra Vtir with B18C2 engine and this mystery item was amongst the oil in the bottom of the sump. Does anyone know if it is an engine part or foreign object?

Looks like a bent wrist pin circlip? (Piston component)
I wouldn't think it's possible for one to end up in the sump though lol. Can't think of any other components that use a circlip like that. If it is then that is a very bad sign lol.
Only other thing I could think of is if you've got a magnetic drain plug and maybe put it back in without realising that was attached..
It looks like a wrist pin clip, just much thinner and smaller than I would suspect if that was the case. Also seems to be stainless steel and non magnetic, really has me baffled.
Yeah I can't think of anything else it could be. That is very concerning though lol. o.0
looks like a spring ring / circlip. Off what ?
Looks like a 5c coin to me
Maybe someone in the past stuck it up the sump hole as sabotage
mabey its a bit of thread that has come out of your sump hole
check hole
but probably not
If you've been to byp lately it's probably them trying to make you come back for return business
