Ignition difficulties...

I have a EG Civic and have just fitted type r engine/dash/wiring into the car..

But have problems.. The idle is not steady and engine shuts down when u rev and release the throttle.
We have done a scan of the ecu and the TPS seems to be stuck at 12% and does not change...

Does anyone know why it is doing this? and how it can be corrected...

check the TPS sensor and MAP sensor plugs have not been reversed,

or otherwise you have a broken TPS...

it is on the back side of the TB

how did you scan the ecu and determin the TPS was sticking at 12%

i was thinking it was via a VAFC "sensor check",

but he could have a OBD scan tool (LOL!)
