I'm planning on purchasing the mugen exhaust and headers sometime soon , and all I want to know is whether or not there is another system on the market that can do the same job or better at a cheaper price? So far the best I've seen are $1980 for mugen exhaust and $1700 for mugen headers..... which is basically 4k for just a freakin exhaust system :shock: ......

No not name brand just anything that can do the same or better that isnt so expensive, but I would prefer something that is 'off the shelf'
oh and it's for a dc2r if that makes a difference......
Instead of the mugen header consider Toda. And you really don't need to fork out $2k for the mugen exhaust, there are a lot of other options which are cheaper and better.

or get Fujitsubo, i think their prices are reasonble. or am i wrong.
here's a plug for Z10, even tho i haven't bought anything off him before..but he's da man to talk to
and there honestly really isn't any point in getting a genuin Mugen exhaust...
Mugen are expensive because of the quality no doubt but also you pay for the name

oh....and i thought the carbon fiber material cools the exhaust gases so it exits the pipe faster...LOL
