has anyone done a h22a swap into a dc2/4 integra in australia? its a pretty popular swap over in the states. i've been talking to a few ppl from there. well if anyones done it here or knows someone who has that i can talk to then let me know??

yes, i have seen at least one on this forum, "badhbt" very nice looking car =P (to say the least)
umm, he doesn't often come online though, but keep an eye out, some people might be able to point you in the right direction.
yeh i know marc, he put a h22a in his 95 GSI, you can catch it in Issue 30 of autosalon magazine, alot of hard work and lots of $$$$$

i dont hav any issues of autosalon lol.. can someone post pics of his car? everyone seems to talk about how nice it is. yeh i'll most likely be doing the swap. i'll be doing most of the work myself apart from the wiring. i've ordered a guide from the states and i've also got ppl giving me advice from over there. from the sounds of it its really worth the money. but yeh i just started this thread to see if anyones actually done it in australia who i could talk to. but it seems theres one person in australia that people know of whos actually done it :S hopefully i'll be the 2nd :P
why not go a further step and go k20a..hehehe, if moneys not an option.. lolz
coz h22a swap will be like half the price lol. all up i've estimated it to be around $5500 including mounts, axles, linkages, new suspension and brakes.
man from what marc has told me, the mounts are an absolute nightmare, probably more trouble than its worth, and i think it will be costing u alot more than $5500, ur dreaming!!!
unless he gets hassport mounts!

$5500 well thats based on the information i got from the ppl in the states who actually have done the swap. im sure i would save alot of money since im talking to ppl who have actually done the swap before. yeh i was planning on gettin the hasport mounts. i dont see y its such a dreaded swap over here but yet its been put into the eg/ek civic so many times. i guess its just the fact that australia is so far behind in the honda scene.
also.. one question off the topic. a 97 b18b2 (integra gsi) engine would anyone happen to know whether the wiring system is obd1 or obd2?
