any1 kno of any DIYs for a shift light wen the vtec kicks in...
yeah i did it once but then took it out to do it properly... the way i first tried it out was when i connected possitive wire to the vtec solinoid on the engine and the negative wire to the body. then i connected them to the shift light on my dash.
but... that was the stupid way of installing it acorrding to my friends, so i took it out.
the correct way of installing it is aparently wiring the positive to a green/ yellow wire on the ecu, and negative wire to the body! less hassel and a little neater i guess?
hmm im clueless lol do it for me..il pay ya :D
lol... i'm pretty bad at explianing things! sorry about that.
il figure it out thnx anyways bro
if u wait a while , a guy off ebay is sending me the DIY, i'll find this post and tell you how once i find out.
np man lol how Longs a while btw...
i thought there was diy in the review section... have a look
just get any shift light or aftermarket tacho - and set the normal "shift" light for when "VTEC" crossover happens.
that doesn't answer the question! only reply if you can help ben...
