i've been seeing posts on this forum saying that dc5 with mods make up to 130 to 150kw at the wheel on the forum here.
i am curious to know how fast is that down thw qauter mile with this sort of power. Comparing to dc2r with similar mods, i know the dc2r won't be make as mch power, which is faster?
my experience - dc2r + 122kw@wheels = 13.94 1/4mile

This is true that the dc5 can make this power as mine is currently making 138kw atw. I am unsure what it will do down the quater as honestly i havent tried it yet. I know of another dc5 here in qld that has similar mods and has done high 13s down the strip. i hope this helps :)

May I ask what mods you have done? I'm planning to race the 1/4 mile next week with just a cat-back on mine and I'm hoping to get into 14 but I doubt it. It'll be my first time and with the 17s I've got on I hope 15.5 is achievable.
Here some average feed back from my clients who’s dc5’s iv tuned across Australia who have gone racing, the times are variable due to driver error, and suspension / tire setup.
Stock DC5r around 15.5
DC5r with a nice free flowing intake, and nice exhaust system plus Hondata K100 14.5 – 14.1
DC5r with a nice free flowing intake, and nice exhaust system, Toda Headers plus Hondata K100 13.8 – 13.5

K20 engines hate back pressure, period.

See the trend, the larger the exhaust / thus more free flowing the more power.
As for intakes, cold air is good, and one of the best styles would be the injen intake its simple cheap flows very nicely and makes maximum power, although modifying the stock intake is almost as good as most bling bling after marker boxes. And some bling bling air box’s are no better than a stock unmodified air box…
