help with my new halo lights

hi all i have just purchased some dual halo lights for my 92 Ls on ebay and i knew the wireng wouldnt be the same and i was woundering if anyone else has them and hpw they wired theres up it would be a big help thanks all

hmm, interesting can u post some pics of the difference in the wiring?? eg, different plugs etc?? need more info. I think the halos will need to be wired to ur headlights so they switch on when u turn ur lights on, just splice them into ur headlight wire, & prob a ground. but make sure the voltage requirments are the same.

they are different coz they also have fog lights in them

so could you wire it up to have the fog lights on with the low beams on??? thats alright then, fog lights is like a bonus. The audi had foggies in the light housing too, was reall cool, they light up the road really well

or u could just wire it up to a separate switch

yeah some pics would be cool, I want to see cause I was looing at purchasing a pair as well, What was the quality like??? once u get them installed mabey u could post some before and after shots or even attempt a DIY article lol

NO!!! LoL im doin the diy on the angel eyes matt :p
hahaha apparantly most of the 1s from ebay are straight bolt ons, apart from the angel eyes themselves, which require a power source, which should b connected to switch on with the park light.

which ebay seller did u buy them off?

just havin a think about the wiring, like matt said, u could splice the angel eye wire into an existing wire, and get power from there. better off gettin it off the parker lights, and earthing sumwhere right under the light, so as to minimise exposed wiring. ill work it out as soon as i get my hands on a pair.

they are really good quality compared to the original ones i went for a cruse and everyone i spoke to said that they love them and people were coming up and asking me where they cna get them they turn heads. in the end i wired my halo's to the parker lights and spliced into the bottom indicater and conected to the side of my new lights they really look good. but all the conecters they came wiht were all wrong and had to do some cuting and soldaring but apart from that no probs good luck.
