hey guys, was thinking about what car to get next and found out that i can pick up a jazz for the same price as picking up an ek4. Just a question, are there alot of after market support for the jazz? also, is it worth doing up a jazz? not taking the engine into consideration, is the chassis strong enough for tracking? thanks guys
Its not a good base for performance, but a good base to get riced up :thumbsup:
i guess it depends who you ask... ask the guys at spoon sports... why have they bothered with the jazz? cos it is do-able... so maybe give it a shot? you get a newer chassis, one that hasnt been driven hard....
for cornering, it's pretty good..but for performance..nope
if u're comparing a jazz and an EK4.. go for the ek, nuf said :)

its a really good car to mod up for track beginners......its not under/over power and its easy to control.....plus you can find millions of stuff you can do with it......whether you like to do dressup......or just power or track work....its all up to you......EK is a really good car for track but its getting old......if you consider to get a civic....wait till next year coz honda is getting the new civic on Feb...but the Si won't be here just as yet....may need to wait for another half year or so........if for me I go Jazz....coz I got a Jazz and a DC5R...hehe

imo jazz is a good daily driver, you want a more aggressive car go type r civic/integra or s2k
i too agree tat ek4 is getting abit old. but u're comparing an ek4 with 118kw to a jazz tat has 81kw.
even the ek CXi 1.6l sohc non-vtec produces a higher power output than 1.5l sohc vtec in the jazz. (88kw vs 81kw)
if u consider the price..u can get 2000 ek CXi (which is not tat old i reckon, and its facelift version :p ) cheaper than 03-04 jazz. stock to stock, the ek handles just as well if not better, and more power. and both cars' a good daily driver no doubt. :)
but mayb im bias ..cause i like eks. :D
