what engine? what mods? boosted or na? what fuel is using? how old is car?

as long as your using 98 ron fuel you should be fine going 2-3 degrees advanced more than stock.

well its a 96 model... im pretty sure its a d16y in it... its a single cam 1.6L non vtec...

upto 4 degrees advance (studs rotate clockwise) is acceptable..
