go a d16a8. they are fuel injected. i have one in my honda crx(ed) and find that it perforances well, but also does well on fuel. i can imagine they would be much. under a grand maybe a lil more plus fitting. hope this helps :)
How bad is your D15B4?
If it aint that bad then I recommend you keep driving it into the ground and slowly source a D15B7 and research the swap more in the meantime.
D15B7 is an easy approach but you could also get a D15B VTEC-E motor which has 92Hp and a lean burn mode under 3000rpm, for less fuel consuption.
For a professional install job, budget atleast $3000 for the conversion, regardless of what approach you take.
Personally, that is $3000 better spent on a better car like an EG Si or GLi
