exhaust for DA9
hey guys.. all you DA drivers out should know that our exhaust system for some stoopid reason at the end in the rear.. goes from the right to the left then out.. so thats 2 more unecessaru bends.. has any one over come this problem by going straight out from the right hand side?? and also what type of mufflers do you guys have?? ive got a typical 4" tip cannon.. really gettin annoyed and over the loud sound.. what do you guys suggest..

I have an X-Force twin loop on mine

I've got some Xforce muffler on mine which came from a mates 300zx so its real BIG
Yeah I've been thinking on going straight out the right hand side but I dont want the empty hole on the left hand side on the rear bar, a friend of mine has a Budy Club Exhaust on hi DA9 that is meat to be for a DC2, it is real real loud without the silencer due to the fact that it has no muffler! u get a good comparison when you have the silencer on and off.

The car im selling has a custom Hi-Tech 2.25 inch system with headers and a 3 inch tip i think it is. It still has those bends at the back before the muffler, but hey cant complain about the performance... $2000 worth!!

i got a shitty midas exaughst...i was low on money and i made a big mistake, if/when i get a new exaughst im gonna go out the right hand side and probably just modify my back lip.

Pics of twin loop on da9 !!!!!
-
just go under the axle and out to the LHS on a 45 degree angle.. seen it on EF9's etc and it is very good - u only need one bend rather than the extra 2.
pm me if you wanty and i can dig up some pics of an EF with this system i took.

if you go stright you will have less room to work with for positioning of your cannon
also there will be no room for an extra muffler or resonator
-
silly duffers, go to the left and straight back. but you will have to install a heat shield that mirrors the right.
-
Is there room around the tank on that side?
I took off all my heat shilds and its all ok
-
nice, im def gonna go straight back next time!
