Thoughts on JUN parts
hey there
just wondering, anyone that has JUN parts, what they think of it..
as in cam gears, cam shafts, basically the valve train kit..
i heard its the best JUN.. but then heard positive things on other brands.. eg.. Skunk2, crower.. etc etc..
this is for H and B series y0
-
depends on what u are after i belive
skunk 2 is more drag based
as are alot of the american brands
i guess u jst gotta read up the specs n see what suits u best for your goal.
-
yea, i heard skunk for mainly drag and jun more of track..
-
usually american brands mroe for drag i think
and jun has diff spec cams n stuff
usually the higher end cam is more for racing on track whereas the lower end stuff is more street stuff.
-
It all depends on what kinda setting and how you build your car. Either Street or Drag.
JUN is good...if you got the money, buy the whole kit..but who to install..hmm...??
-
jase id suggest asking kOncept about jun stuff i know he will take care of you with prices
and im sure he will give u a better idea
-
From what I have found out when I was looking at cams, Jun and Skunk2 are more for top end, where as Toda gives better mid range.
-
maybe look at buddy club they are a very good jdm brand and are not as expensive as jun or toda
-
everything from the skunk2 range is made in taiwan. i can get u skunk2 parts cheap.
-
go for JUN man.... i am ordering some JUN parts from hk, what r u after? maybe we get it together, maybe cheaper.
-
yeah hit up koncept,he is right on the money with the Jun stuff and will do u a good deal!

I heard that JUN is one of the best, there was a yellow DC2R in Perth with lots of JUN stuff (cams, internals ect) on street tyres car was running 13.7s 1/4mile, all work on car was done by speedworks in perth.
