does anyone here know the difference of dc2r b/w in 99, 00, 01? if any?
and just to make sure myself :) , does honda start selling dc2r in 99 ?
and also i ve seen a jdm 97 dc2r for sale, whats the difference between the aus dc2r ? (beside the performance aspect)
e.g. body wise, cosmetics? accessories? decals? interiors? others?

type r integra's were produced in '99 for the australian market.
Besides JDM Type R being ummm... a little faster - the front is totally different to the AUS spec. It has flat lights and well the whole front is different - looks a little like the previous generation Teggs - better IMO. I'm sure someone in here has a pic of it they can post up. And yeh AUS stopped production of DC2 VTi-R and made way for the DC2R in 1999.
ok, so there is no other cosmetics difference between the JDM and AUS dc2r beside the front end, right?
what about rear end, tail lights, interior, gauges, etc? are they all exactly the same?
then any difference between the 99, 2000, and 2001 aus dc2r ?
i'd like to know this, coz i m in the market for dc2r soon after i sell my car.

have a rounded side miror as opposed to the AUDM ITR and JDM 98 spec side mirrors which have a "horizontal gash along them " the same as the EK series civic ..

I don't know of any changes through the line of AUS DC2R's. The DC2's had their changes in late '97 ie) dual airbags, change in lights and the whole the front section had a makeover compared to what it was from '93 to early '97. So I think the ITR's were the same all the way through until AUS DC5R's came out.
Could be wrong though - there are ppl in here who r in the know about this more than I am. :D

CTR = Civic Type R. Usually parts such as those in Civics are a little more aggressive than the ITR. A lot of ppl get CTR cams cos of this.
