My 17" Rim Upgrade

The 3 dealers I spoke to in Sydney not mentioning names said it could not be done!


Well here is the proof today installed the 17" Rims of a Lux Euro 05 onto my Base Model 04.

I am so happy the drive is so much better!! Words can not describe! :cool: :cool:

Yeah the average dealer wants 550-600 per rim lets say I got the rims for free but paid for tyres !

You must have been lucky to find these on ebay. I've just searched and theres none for sale...none that I can find anyway.

Is there any difference in handling now that you have gone to these wider rims/tyres without any suspension changes? Usually people lower as well as change to larger rims at the same time. Post your experiences!

I personally don't feel any difference when I upgraded my rims to 17". I did lower the car but that's a few weeks afterwards.
