good question, ive never thought about it but i would like to know too. Im thinking it would be some sort of high heat treatment and then sudden cooling etc.
Probably blowtorch. You just need to burn the metal (have a look at an overheated drill bit).
The only problem with burning metal is it gets soft...
was told with an "oxy burner,.... "
im sticking my neck out there and saying that its either the way they cut it..or as tobster mentioned, heating it some how.
Could it just be staining of the metal?
yup i second that.. try using a oxy welder... that works... just burn ther outer tip of the exhaust and let it cool then u get that titaninum tip effect.Quote:
