hey guys
im tossing up between a new set of rims, or a new suspension set up.
so jsut wanted 2 know... wat settups r u guys runnin? how r u finding them? also, we know its hard 2 find good coilovers for our cars... so wat do u guys recomend?
the set up is more for street use than anything... i want good height, and comfort, but a lil bit of stiffness.

i just got the stock shocks and some kinda springs (i forget what brand) which dump it on its ass heh, very good stiffness, you feel everythign :S but i love them :P
yer im riding on stock shocks at the moment with 40mm lowered pedders springs i like the feel of them but im getting them reset in a few weeks time for another inch lower lol im also upgrading my shocks to kyb soon aswell.

I got koni yellows
these are hight adjustable as well as dampening
they do the job quite well and if you dont like the stiff ride you can make it softer
wheels or suspension...well that depends..
if your gonna go coil overs then it wont matter in which order u buy them
if your gonna get just springs/shocks then get wheels first so u know how much to lower the car...
I went with wheels first but the resulting look spurred me on to get my suspension sorted.
I'm currently on a Koni/Kings setup with a Whiteline rear swaybar (thanks Andrew, had a brain fart!) and I am very happy with it. The Konis made a world of a difference.
If you are keen on coilovers you can always use a DC/EG setup with the replacement of a few parts.

you can use dc2 (non r ) suspension if you have the front drop forks from a dc2
you can use dc2r suspension if you have front forks and rear lca's
the latter is a waste of money in my opinion. there are loads of great coilovers available for dc2, for which you only need front forks. only problem is most of them are a rip off
yes i would also like someone to shed some light on the fitting of eg civic coilovers cos a importer that i go to has some sitting down there, wouldnt mind picking them up lol
