anyone know how much it cost to replace a DC2R engine?

anyone know how much it cost to replace a DC2R engine?
eg..labour and the cost of the parts.

as in a entire new one from honda ? Or reuild one etc ?

How about you help this vauge thread with info...IE what is the damage ? k's ? etc

pick up a B18C7 for around $6-7gs i would think
not sure on labour costs thou

i would budget $10000, for hidden nasties

if its just the engine you could probably find it cheaper

but they are a very popular engine to buy from a wrecker

as if...

if is just an engine replacement u can easily get it done for less than $4g, thats with the labour which is only a few hours of easy work...

sorry.. i was thinking of a halfcut, which is alot more expensive

Going by the other thread & this one, it sounds like yours has blown up. :eek:

alphabeatsco why ask? Does yours have a problem? Snap a timing belt or making a bad noise or something?

$1500-$2000 for Rob at Hanny's to rebuild with new seals and rings as long as no parts are broken. Good as new:D
