is this a wise decision?

hi guys.....

i was thinking of selling off my 18" rims and getting either of these 2 rims. Also how much do u think can i sell these 18" rims with tyres for? (there are minor scratches on 2 of them)

currently have this:
18"

17"

pls advise...i was leaning on the 17"'s coz with the 18"'s i feel the ride is too bumpy - every rough patch i feel when i drive. - I have a black Euro 2005 with ivory interior if that helps ur choosing of the rims.

go for the gold.

the silver one just has the same bland style of the lenso muse :thumbsup::p

this is just me, but not a fan of gold rims, so id say go the silver

some massive dish on them! how much are they each and what brand ?

Lenso make good cast rims - don't downgrade for those other rims. If you are experiencing poor ride that is more likely to be your suspension set up. Is it still stock or did you change?

the 2 new ones are APEC.... 17" is $1000au with tyres. 18" $1550 with tyres.

I don't know much about APEC - I always suggest people stay away from the real dirt cheap cast rims. $1000 is nothing when you include tyres. Make sure they have a replacement warranty at that sort of price. Lenso has a decent reputation so you could be downgrading in terms of quality.

Too hard on stock suspension is an unusual complaint. How hard do you usually pump up the tyres?

If you do change eg for 17" - go for min 7.5" wide then you can fit 235/45/17. It has a higher sidewall compared to 225/45/17 so if you want more ride comfort that is the size for you. It is also cheaper in terms of tyre selection.

I agree.Stay with the rims u have.(i have similar in 17s).Spend your money on some good quality tyres and dont have too high pressure in them.About 36psi all round seems to be good for me!

I wouldn't get gold for a black euro. Silver rims will match the chrome around the doors etc..
