Colder = denser air = better performance.
it was aboout 7 degrees last saturday night in melbourne and my car feel like vtec below 5000rpm :D
...but grip levels can be lower too...

Mine doesn't feel slower for sure..
It feels much much MUCH better :D
might sound like a silly question but did you look to see if the car's temp gauge was half way. i.e operating temp?Quote:

yeah ANY VTEC engine will not operate VTEC solenoid OR Fuel and Timing MAPS untill you are at operating temp.
you SHOULD be getting a fair bit more power with colder air temps.. for every 3 degrees drop in air temp, you get 1HP power increase or something like that I read somewhere.. but you can REALLY notice it under your foot - plus VTEC 'noise' should be louder and more defined.
