Buddy Club Exhaust (spec 3 or 4) vs. Twin loop exhaust (mugen or xforce)

hey...i drive an ek4...and im not sure which i shd get...either da buddy club or da twin loop exhaust...

whats the pros and cons of each? and if buddy club...spec3 or spec 4? if twin loop mugen? or xforce?

BC exaust loued and big, mugen or xforce twin loop silent and slightly hidden and small.
are they going to be full systems or just mufflers?

the BC "spec" exhaust are catbacks, and are very, very, very loud, they have no restiction, ie straight pipes
and if u are unforuntate enough to be pulled over by the police, u will! be defected for it and there is probly no way of avoiding it

on the other hand the mugen or xforce twin loops are just mufflers, u will need a b-pipe, and axel-back depending if it comes with one, if u want a full cat back exhaust
these will be more quiter and will attract less attenion, however u might not get as much power as the BC because there will be ristrictions on them to keep it quiter, ie resonators, and the end muffler

i had twinloop on my car it was too quiet for my liking now i got a BC spec 2 on my car now i am going deaf but i love the sound it's up to u man. deaf or too quiet :D

BC3 rocks!

twinloop provides more torque, but yes its a pain in the arse to get an axel back or bpipe, currently looking for one =)

is thier a big difference with or w/out silencer for the buddyclub exhuats or are they about the same noise level

There will be a big difference when you use the silencer on the bc3.

Out of all the exhaust system, I really recommend BC Spec IV as this exhaust compromise both noise and power, as the power output shouldn't be much different with BC spec III as both exhaust have ID of 2.5 inch.

BC IV will be fairly quiet (not as quiet as Twinloop) under normal driving condition and it will be super loud when you race the car.

While, BC III is really loud :D

lol sure does is the bc IV the one with the really short canon tip

because of such a small engine, there isn't alot of torque and having a twinloop i dont know the mechanics of it but just been told over and over again by various people, a twinloop will increase the back pressure or something and allow more torque.

having heard the buddyclub exhaust... its pretty loud not my sorta thing

Mugen Twinloop
Great low end torque coz it run around the loop...by increase back pressure....your engine will privde more low end torque but it doesn't mean they are restrictive on high end. Because the design in the loop...there is a valve that will open up in high exhaust pressure and make it like normal exhaust....thats why they will become louder when you Vtec it...
X-force
Same design as mugen but you know the price difference.....you get what you pay for...
BC Spec series
They are not straight pipes except spec II...They all come with hotdog on B pipes.....but the reason they are louder since the material they use and also the pipe itself is thinner.....They will provide excellent high end improvement but you may lose a bit of low end torque coz of lack of back pressure.....
