I just want to find out fits the 04' 5 door hatch(EU3). What are the suitable brands and types of air filters and cold air intakes (can be model specific) that is suitable for this model. Does it use the same as the 7th gen sedans?
cheers

hi there is it for a d17a? if so i got panel filter by k&n from autobarn for $110 little bit econ on highways but no power gain :( goodluck
is autojoy still around? if so they can look after you. $70 for the pod and probably another $50 (?) for the intake?
i have always gone K&N replacement panel filters. Works really well and keeping the engine bay stockish looking :)
hmm... you can get K&N panel filter at autobarn?
Arent there any pod filters from K&N for this version of civic?
doesnt matter if theres nt much power gain as long it looks good and stockish like Gvtec said !
yes u can use the K&N pod in the 7th gen. i have it with my AEM CAI cost like $70 tho
is it the same for the hatch though?
I got my K&N filters usually from ebay. It generally works out cheaper and delivery is about 2 weeks to your door. You have to do your homework and ensure that the part number is correct before making any purchase. That's what i did for my 8th Gen civic and even the wife's corolla ;)
and trust me, there is some power gain. The cars actually breath alot better and improved fuel economy as well, and like you said, it fits nicely and look very stockish & tidy in the engine bay.
it should fit ur car, all u should need to buy is the adaptor
