buy this whilst the US exchange rate is 0.815 cents and do it yourself. I am sure dealers have a similar device but I doubt it will be cheaper than this delivered from the USA (small package so shipping should not be painful)

thanks for your quick reply!
so it will cost me A$148 all up (incl. shipping) which seems reasonable
but i have no idea how to install this thing. I have no experience in this area, a complete noob. Can anyone help this poor gal out? I dont want to spend the money if i cant get it installed properly.
thanks for the reply. Please give me the details, I live in burwood and go to liverpool on weekends which is south.
I don't know the answer to the first question - you can try to find somewhere if you don't like ordering online.
With this unit you can only control volume on the steering wheel. If you want to be able to change tracks using the steering wheel you need one of the ipod specific controllers which are much more expensive.
This is another option guys - made by PIE

Just shop around for something with reasonable shipping. It really only weighs a few hundred grams at most so places wanting $40US for shipping are just gouging.
I am pretty sure I got my SNHOND3 from this retailer. They also sell the Pie

Found an installation guide on the SNHOND3, for the Accord. Not Euro though. Looks like some decent work.
