not again
get 4 to 10 to 7 to 5 to 9 to 1, extra long for good response thruout the rev range
4-2-1 for power across the range
4-1 for top end power
as I understand it

hmm can u explain how big the primaries, secondaries, tertiarary collectors would give me most power ?Quote:

although *generally* speaking, 4-1 is more for top end, and 4-2-1 is more for mid range, it really depends on the design of the header.
Some other extractors that I have tried at the 4-2-1 extractors from Dave flood (Dyno Dave). They have really short secondaries, so are more like a 4-1. Excellent extractors, but quite expensive.
Hope that helps.

Dynodave made a post that contradicts this.Quote:

4-2-1 are the only way to go and the new generation headers coming from more research and development make power from idle to max RPM.But having said that the JDM 4-1 Type-R headers are very good and hard to beat for 90% of B series powered engines in street cars.
