I say yes....I think they are saying to everyone..."Look at me, I'd love to be able to afford a proper sportscar, so I compromised with this.."
Not really. Back in 1999 when it was first released, it was more of a sportscar than the Z3, SLK and Boxster, which were its only competition. :)
Yes, but s2k ers classify it as a supercar...which it isnt
Uh oh, troll alert.
I bought the S for practical reasons. I wanted an Elise but the S gave me similar performance with a modicum of practicality.
99 Elise would of been the start of series 2 wouldn't it?
I think the original Elises production run ended in 98?
And to the thread creator, I tihnk you'll find most owners have other cars to utilise too.....
I mean the 330 is practically the same price. The Z3 is in the 20K mark now, the Z4 is in the $30K mark now, so too is the 350Z. The Boxster is only held up by its badge, and the SLK is also in the $30K price tag bracket.
oh dear the school holidays are amongst us.
you have to drive the s2k's rival cars to know why some people chose the s2k. i mean i've driven a few s2k's and i've tested z4 and 350z and stuff. but you dont get that much fun out of drivin those cars. drivin an s2k is heaps of fun over those other cars. not just my opinion but many i've talked to.
so before you start 'categorising' people in general brass, get some knowledge on what your talking bout before you get flamed for saying things you know nothing bout.
hi, look, i understand that you are a bit worried about trolls, but don't expect us to be sympathetic to you either when you say shit on other forums
i.e. how this site is full of children.
as you can plainly see, most of us don't encourage this sort of behaviour
