Guys/Gurlz,
Im up for a 100k service and i wana know what I should be looking into getting repaired, checked or whatever...
Has anybody taken there Euro to a Honda repairer for a 100kms service?? how much would i be up for??

since the euro uses driving chain instead of belt.. so timing belt one is out...
but i think the best way to look is your log book... and i can assume it won't be a cheap service as well..

I thought it was a belt not chain.
it's chain, like all k-series :wave:
the only 'big' thing about the service is the change of the platinum spark plugs which are pricey in comparison compared to standard plugs.
most dealers/workshops would do the plugs, oil + filter, ATF and i guess depending on the cars history u might be up for brake pads or tyres

im not really worried about the price.. just trying to get an idea at what im looking at. I know hondas do run on a chain so im guessin that timing business is out... u reckon its hard to change the sparkies myself?
had my 100K serviced done a month 2month ago, changed oil, filter, fuel filter and sparkies forgot what else, but all together cost me about $500. today im getting it serviced again for 105000K service
why did they do the fuel filter? it wasnt done at 80K?

Not by much. Maybe $500. LOL. But it does make the car easier to sell to a normal member of the public. Car enthusiasts don't really care about log books as long as it has been serviced regularly.Quote:
