Bleeding Brakes with One-Man Kit

Hi,

For 95 DC2, whats the brake bleed order? FL, RR, FR, RL?

Also, with the one man kits. This article on Honda-Tech has almost everything and is great.

But I do have couple questions:

1. Is the PVC Tube in the Kit enough to stop air from getting in? Break Service hole, attach pipe, then jump in car and pump brake (1/2 way in) couple times while watching small reservoirand master cylinder?
2. When you fill up the small reservoir, I'm guessing you have to close the service port before emptying the reservoir?

I suppose the big question is, what happens if Air gets in? Just keep repeating the process? Or tow her to a mechanic? lol

hi mate, do the furthest caliper to the master cylindar first and then the second closest and so on in that order, if doing by yourself with the bottle on pvc hose crack the nipple off and slowly pump your pedal about 8-10 times (all the way to the floor!) and do the nipple back up, then top up your res every wheel you do. 8 - 10 pumps should be enough just make sure the fluid is clean going into your bottle and you should be sweet :D
air shouldnt come back through the system unless there was a lot of air to start with!! but if thats the case then yes you must keep repeating the process.

btw much easier to get air out with 2 people

I am pretty sure you start with the caliper that is the greatest distance away from the master cylinder.

LR, RR, FL, FR.

LR RF, RR, LF - Cause i think all the honda's use diagonally split bias..

The honda manual for a 98-00 integra states to do it the FRONT first.

i remeber when doing the bleeding did the front first. iguess it was rite..

that is wierd im a qualified mechanic and i've always done the rears first on any car....

everyone's does it differently, generally we were taught to go furtherest from the M.C (LR, RR, FL, FR), there's no harm in doing it the old fashioned way, it's just bleeding the brakes. So far only the Euro's I've been doing them in as in the diagram.

i know , i have always done it from the rear and never had any problems.
- (on AUDM) RL , RR , FL , FR.
I suppose it wont matter either diagonal way as along as all air is out of the system.

For low pressure ABS system, do the corner closest to the ABS pump. If it is located front right like in my car, then FR, FL, RR, RL.

If it is others, then furthest away first.

just do it until no air bubbles...

i usually do fronts first. Faster results.
