I tried heaps of shops all round the same price. Global Auto Spares was the only one that had any in stock. Im in QLD? Why do you ask?
i paid $100 for my bendix advance pads about 3 months ago
funny thing is my bro got a quote for $80 for the same pads to suit his LS
i thought it would be cheaper for a 94+ teg over a DA9
oh ok if u were from sydney you coulda got them for 89 dolla hehe
or "import one" for 29 dolla :)
damn :@ how much are the rears usually? Got a quote for 78 including postage for bendix advance the rear set from a guy from ebay.
what other brake pads have been used by everyone?
Were they good? Last a long time? Eat away at the rotor? Good at high temperature with minimal brake fade? Much dust?
check out clubrsx, they've been running a pretty informative and full on brake pad discussion for a few wks now... :)
i've had mine in for around 4 months now
has been really good until I did MC Motorsport, a type of Autokhana driver training 1 month ago
hammered the hell out of my brakes on the track, and now every 2nd or 3rd time i drive the car, it makes a slight metal on metal noise when braking. it only happens when the car is about 20km/h to 0, and doesn't happen very often
i've checked the rotors, they're still flat as, and the pads still have heaps of wear on them. i'm not too worried about it, cos the brake pedal feel and stopping is excellent
and pads are good from slowing down from 180km/h, very minimal brake fade (only cos i didn't realise i had to turn left at the next intersection :p)
Omar, Go to Perth Brake Parts.
he does PPCC club discounts.
i don't need new brakes :p
where is Perth Brake Parts?
wat is PPCC club?
