EG - EK panel filter interchangeable?

Hi,

Anyone knows the dimension of the airbox / panel filter on EG and EK? are they interchangeable?

dont think so . The EK4 airbox and EG5/6 appear to be slightly different sized ( EG being biggeR)

actually the ek is slightly bigger

but it does fit with a bit of pushing in :D coz i have one atm.

it's a perfect fit, they have dimensions on that website. and there's no need to screw anything in.

thanks for the link, I forgot whether the bolts are only for the airbox or there are some for mounting the air filter to the airbox as well.

ask Jasongilholme he is using my ek4 one in his eg2

is his eg2 with stock engine or b-series?

er eg2's in au came with b16a's

lol well he didn't say what ek or what eg so i have to assume he means ek4 and eg2 lol and truth is i dont even know the model abreviations below these 2 cars and dont wish to know

EFI EG's came with the same airbox size and airfilter size ( panel filter).
Only difference is the EG6 and EG2 with the slightly larger intake arm becoz of the b16a2 engine on the other end :)

hehe, I thought EG2 is either GL or GLI or even breeze :p
