dc2 w/ fujitsubo noisey
hey guys
dont know if its a problem but ive got a dc2 with a fujitsubo rm01a catback...(stock headers & cat) but i find it really loud inside the car...outside its no so bad but inside its ridiculously loud. was professionally installed and i took it back and he reckons its fine so dont know if its normal or 'loud'
any suggestion ideas or even someone with the same exhaust let me know
cheers

Put a silencer in it?
If your car is a dc2r, then its probably because there is no sound proofing. If its a dc2 - you could have probably chosen a quieter catback.
-
Ive got the same setup, execpt with headers and aftermarket cat, and i think the noise is perfect, not loud, just enough to hear it abit, but all performance otherwise, imo its not loud at all
-
but isnt the rm01a suppose to be a quiet exhaust?....
ive only got a dc2
reason y i think its loud cause it ridiculously loud...louder or as loud as my friends skyline gtr
my is like very loud drony in the cabin....even my friends dc2r with a magnaflow 3inch catback 3 inch tip wasnt as loud inside the car

Was the fuji brand new or second?
If second hand has it been modified?
-
second had but dont think its been modified..
-
trying welding on another resonator if you wanted to mod the midpipe. thats weird, because they are usually quiet.
-
yerr thats what i was thinking and thats the reason why i brought it..
bah...maybe i should take it to another exhaust place
-
why would you want to ruin such fine quality, with some random in a exhaust shop that will just tig weld it any way he likes it, and in return might compramise the quality of your exhaust..
-
swap me for my power getter =P
-
lol if u find the rmo1a loud then i dont know what will be quiet....
i think its a very very qiet exhaust when driving in all rps compared, its only slightly loud when engine braking around 3000-4000rpm
-
^ exactly right, i havent heard a quieter performance exhaust like this and the quality of the whole product itself
