Just wondering who has mounted cameras in car whilst dragging or tracking, and whats the best way to mount it to get the best quality video.
Any ideas?

I put a bracket on my B pillar bar which works well.
Someone on here posted a pic of their set up which was simply a tripod secured in the rear of the car.Seemed alright too.
Otherwise you can make a bracket attached to the headrest rods on either of the front seats.

I like your set up, I have recaros that don't have adjustable head rests so cant do it that way.
I might try on the C pillar bar set up, any one else got an idea?
i've seen a tiny tripod for inside car perusal... but i'm not really sure how you gonna attach it if you change ur seat to aftermarket one and dont have B pillar bar...
Yeah im happy to play around with it a bit. Im thinking of making a simple aluminum bracket with a thread off a tripod attached, then the bracket attached to my C pillar, its at a good height in my dc2r. Just want it to be real steady and clear, not bouncy.
I used this

i ripped up an old tripod, snipered the top part and slipped it over my cpillar bar, had to use duct tape to make up the thickiness descrepancy between the bar and the mount, it looks dodgey as ****, but it works really well. Excellent solid footage
theres an awesome setup i've seen on ebay if you have a B or C pillar bar.
it clamps onto the bar and you screw your camera onto it....
Becareful you don't decapitate yourself with such a setup
