Is it worth spending a little bit more to get a 7th gen civic, like is there less problems, btw this isn't for me, just someone who needs a practical reliable car, like he doesn't want to modify it and vtec isn't a big deal for him.

of corz spending a lil bit more to get a much younger car wuld be better...
but hey,sum mite say 6th gen is made in japan and 7th is not...
serzly...if its crap would honda qualify it and sell it on the market?i rekon go for the 7th gen..newer car = better resell value after use =-)
imo 7th looks better =) face lift version i mean
i have a 7th Gen civic and she is made in Japan!
both 6th gen and 7th gen are made in japan, its 8th gen that is made in thailand.
I think for a daily driver a 7th gen is perfect, iv had the 7th gen sedan before, apart from finding the seats alittle uncomfortable it was a great car. btw iv noticed the resale value of the 7th gen is pretty crap compared to the resale value held by the 5th and 6th gen civics.
mine is made in Japan, i have a 7th Gen GLI i know i looked at the compliance plate it says made in Japan!
i thought its the facelifted 7th gen which is made in thai
my 2001 ES is made in jap
i heard the thai made hondas have a some critical issues with the gearbox, is that true?
