nope, ur fine
mate,
the wheel offset and width is suitable.
what are you lowered on?
if you are currently running 16"/17" stockies with 1 finger gap then putting on 18" will definitely scrub and more.
best method if you have adjustable height is to raise car then drop it back down ontop of the wheels.
just my opinion as you havent told us any details.
wad if u go for the lowest profile tires ? will it still rub cuz this is the size this is the setting dat i want to put on my car :D
im currently on 18x8.5 but i got them with the car and dont know what offset they are. lowered with about 1 finger gap now that the tires are almost gone but i did feel some scrubbing when i was up in the mountains. driving normal there was no scrubbing.
tein SS so i can raise it aswell.
just want to make sure with +45 and 8.0" width . i guess im alright :)
hmmm.... whats the estimate distance from the edge of the rim to the tyre surface?
do your tyres look like rubber bands?
if it's like about +/-100mm (my estimation) it should be about profile 40.
If you are running 18x8.5 now, then 18x8 would fit.
Offset anythign between +42-55.
What tyre size are you running?
sorry to bring up an old thread, but are 18x9 +45 too wide? would these scrub?
most likely if your running them on the front, you will prob need to roll/cut your guards at the front
the rear should be fine
Ive been on +45 for 3 years. I have 18x7 though. No issues.
I dont personally understand the need for 8 inch wide tyres. It adds nothing to performance, in fact makes the car slower and heavier. The car doesn't need 8 inch for handling purposes either.
would produce more tramlining as there is more contact on the road.
i am experiencing tramlining with my 18x7.5 running 225/40/18
lol, yeh but it gets alot of feedback on the steering.
so my arm gets tired. <--puahahah
in a way feels like a race car.
