Whats your speedo out by? mine is out by like 6km/h when i am doing like 100km/h its reading 94km/h on the GPS anyway thought it might be just an issue with my gps but did a reset on my trip and went to work... it took me 25.5k to work... Wait a min... thats wrong i have been taking the same route for maybe a couple hundred times and i am sure its anywhere between 24.5 to 24.7.... is there anyway to recalibrate the speedo? how much would it cost me?

did you change your wheels? that could play a role
All cars are like that for safety reasons. You will never see a stock car that is going faster than what is indicated.
Typically, the Euro does 96km/h when 100km/h is indicated.

i remember someone saying most cars have a 6% reading add up reading so if your car says your going 100, your actually going 94..
is it real?? cause i had like 9 cars in the past and like non did that... actually there might be 1 and that was like a 92' magna so i dont really see why it didnt... But on and accord euro...:(Quote:

If you look at the reviews in the Wheels (or Motor?) Magazine, they tell you the actual speed when at 100km/h in the specs. I dont think I have ever seen 100km/h at 100km/h
hm... anyway was thinking of resetting my ecu...
are the steps right?
- Undo battery
- pump on the brakes maybe 3 pumps before it gets stucked?
- wait for 10 min
- reconnect
- run it idle for 10min
- turn engine off
- turn it back on after a min or so
- reset the radio and turn on the aircon
- drive off slowly ( ok this is the part that really wonders me)
if i am to drive and go into the rev range, wont the ecu on my AUTO be learning to change gears late in like 3500rpms instead of like 2500rpms??
can anyone correct my procedures for resetting the ecu shown above?

- just unplug the negative terminal for 10min then put it back on.
- and drive however you want it to as the ECU will relearn.

No the ecu doesn't learn how to change gears, and it won't change the shifting point.
Where the hell are you getting these instructions from? If it was a friend he just wants u to look like a Dik doing all that crap....
As Mentioned above,
Unplug the batt neg terminal for 5 mins.
OR
Pull the fuse out for the ECU for about 2 mins.
Then drive how ever you want. The ECU will relearn itself.
