TASauto
They sell everything for 89-02 accords ONLY :P
Sorry no legend :(
Honda Aus
wanted $150 each side
and that was before shipping and waiting 6+ weeks to get em from japan
doesnt it come with them? my jazz and s2k both have courtesy style lighting like key out and light comes on, unlock and lights come on etc. you could always wire up to that?
it does, but the person (merc mechanic :p) who installed my power window regulator connected up the wrong wire, in effect frying this "logic controller". wierdly enough, its only the door courtesy lights that fail to illuminate. dome lights, ignition lights, all work on command remote lock/unlock, key in/out, etc.
but at ~$350 (+ shipping from the US and finding someone to send it) i question if i should even bother. maybe ill go look for a wreck keep it in my backyard and just salvage parts of there.
you see, with normal cars, its often just a switch and a direct wire to the fuse box that controls the courtesy lighting. however with the legend the boffins decided in their infinite wisdom that they will get a controller box to do the work for them, eliminating wires and making the car light with less wiring and what not. they also decided to charge like a wounded bull when it comes to parts.
could they be connected to seperate controllers? or the door ones could just be switches? if they died seperate, quite odd
ive gone over the electrical diagram for my car, and all points to this mysterious control box. *shrugs*
ohwell, who needs door lights anyway..... just get a head torch (Y)
i have this wierd tingling feeling. if its there it has to work. but like i said $350+ for a bit of metal, a circuit board does seem abit rich to me, considering that the car isnt worth much, and i am looking at an upgrade soon-ish. so i much rather the money go towards something else than a car that is going to be scrapped in the near future.
So today i decided to replace the rear lower control arms...
A considerate thief decided they'd steal my Pro-Lift 2000kg Garage Jack ><
So i used a scissor jack and a jackstand under the tow hook to replace em
Worked out how to do everything as a went along
