i agree. the location of the shifter means you hold the gear knob from the side rather than from the top. therefore i feel a longer gear knob makes it easier to shift.Quote:

Hey guys, I just replaced my gear knob with the mugen one. Just wondering how you got it level? As when I screw it all the way down the gear markings are sideways? Did you have to put in a washer or nut?
Did you retain the locknut? Have that underneath the gearknob so that you can get the markings level.Quote:
