I don't think the KnN filters would be doing a worse job than the OEM honda filters.

that might be an interesting read...
especially not on n FD1 maybe on a dc2r or dc5r or nething R really then yeh coz they made to get maximum performance out of stock, but not your cars they more luxury
Very interesting howy! At first I was saddened by how poorly the K&N did... now I almost don't care... as I find the dirt negligable... not saying that Honda will do the same. One interesting point is the oil used to clean/service the Filter will destroy your air flow sensor if it gets into the wiring.. which apprently there are quite a few documented cases.
Very interesting... but I don't think this will worry me.
lol luxury
yeh, just thought I might share it with you guys.
i was actually considering sri's, but figured it was not worth voiding the warranty of the engine.
Well... I've just spent all evening "researching" exhaust options... So hopefully I'll get some replies and finally do my first mod soon :)
For those of you who stated you had a cat-back exhaust system installed, what do you have? Something custom? As I can't find a single FD1 specific cat-back system.
Any help?
yeah i might get a cat-back in like 3 months
Yeah but which cat-back? I can't find anything yet for the FD1... a couple of ppl said they had the XForce cat-back... EXCEPT I got a reply from a distributor of XForce stating there currently is none in production by XForce. He said maybe next year. So maybe they had it custom done with Xforce parts ... i.e the resonator and muffler.
Anyone care to ellaborate what exhaust systems they have on their FD1s?
im gonna get a custom one
