prefacelift mugen looks VIP. and type R means you'll spend moneym, won't it?
hypothetically! it will cost the same if i were to get the fd2r or get a new mugen kit and fix up my rear/front bar sprayed etc

i was just wondering if buying a 09+ mugen replica skirt would differ from pre facelift?
logic tells me that it was just that a facelift and not a major alternation to dimension?

Critical help needed! argh!
Stripped my dash for the second time today as I started noticing that the audio output from the AUX cable seemed like there was no treble (sounded like it was at -6) whereas in fact its at +6. Bass seemed a bit poopy too.
I played around with the ipod controls (EQ etc) and nothing seemed to help it.
Could it be the quality of the audio cable...? I bought it from Jaycar.
I checked the connections 10 times and they seemed fine BUT the difference is I did NOT use crimped ends, rather I stripped the wires and stuck them in snugly.
None of the wires were touching each other and they were all in the right positions (after all I had music playing quite well).
In the end I took out the damn thing and put my dash back together again (agonizing over the bloody a/c tube).
Sigh, help!
P.S. Is it normal for my FD to flash three times when I lock it?
yeh its normal for ur car to flash 3times when u lock it!
P.S.S. The 6-cd stacker stereo is fvkin heavy
it flash's once with u lock it, and 3 times when u dead lock it..
has anyone noticed the temperature thing flash ? mine flashed on 3*C tonight for like 10 seconds... odd..?
i was like wow, watched it and nearly went off the road.. small things for small minds :|

Vti-L & Sport Models have a temperature display for the aircon... whereas Vti models don't. No biggie.
I thought that was the temperature display of outside ambient temp? or are you referring to the climate control unit?

what aftermarket ECU's are compatible with our FD2? Anything other than unichip?
havent heard much info about ECUs, but, the trader adaptronic here is offering custom ECU builds if u wanna look into that
it will help to get ur guards lipped or rolled. doesnt cost much to do. scrubbing will also depend on ur tyres. 215 or 205 wide tyres are probably sufficient to get those wheels on without guard rolling.Quote:
