Opinions on 7th gen Civic

i have dc2/eg rails, where can i get them made from? my bro reckons all i need to do is change where the bolts go with a few new welds to fit my car?

u can get the brackets made pretty much anywhere that does welding, just ask them if they can make u some new brackets that match the car and weld them on to the rails.

awesome.. any suggestions as to where i should go that would charge me a reasonable price? i'd like to get it done asap.

i went and got mine dont at my old mechanics but they were a bit pricey. usually exhaust shops can do it just give them a call as ask if they can weld what ur asking for.

I used to have an '01 VI. white, with white 17" rims (no idea what), spoon muffler, SRI (k&n pod filter), coilovers, shithouse chinabrand tyres and TypeR stickers (stickers made the car 120% faster). gave it to my lil bro after procuring a DC5R.

pro's:
- lotsa space, especially at the back.
- good mileage (avg 500k)
- cheap & easy to maintain

cons:
- SLOW as a push bike.
- hard to find 3rd party parts.
- handles like a donkey.

my parents bought me this car, so i cant complain :D

yeah its slow but im not to fussy about it.

edit again: just wanted to know, i heard something about dc5 suspension being able to fit in our cars? am i wrong here? im thinking of getting coilovers but not sure where to go get them, whether i should buy off ebay or go to pedders? any suggestions?

if u use the DC5 or EP3 COilover i think u need to change the forks, but dont quote me on that.

i know there are a few coilovers going around for out car, i know On the Run Motorsports in Clayton supply them for our cars, thats where i got mine from.

how much did you pick them up and installed for dandan? i was thinking of getting a set for my car.
