Wouldn't buy another Euro, the reason being:
1. Too many dash rattles (which cant be fixed by Honda)
2. Drifting problem (maybe due to choice in tyres, which also can't be fixed by Honda) on the lxry, sport model with 17" bridgestones.
3. Sun roof doesnt automatically shut when car turns off.
4. Not enough power (needs a turbo).
5. Needs to be rear or 4wd.
6. Honda's quality assurance policy is a scam..just plain marketing bullshit.
Am I asking for too much??? Nope don't think so cause if it had all this plus what my lxry model has already I would buy one most definetly, so would the rest of Aust. too IMO.
I've got an 06 lux as well.had it 4 mths.done 7600kms.Re: 1 Not a squeak or rattle in the car at all.Quote:

Long story short - GF and I parted way after 2.5yrs and we had been paying half each.. she wanted to keep the car so i said fine and went and bought something else...Quote:

Going to get the HPR ecu upgrade in 2 weeks time hopefully - hello 152kW :D I dare say it will then be faster than the euro in a straight line
Sounds like it'll be a little beast :). Looking forward hear more about it.Quote:

i need to do this!
what happened to ur car?
I don't think they will replace your car with a brand new one if it can still be repaired. only a written off car will be replaced with a brand new one (if your car is < 1-3 years old depending on the insurance company). Of course if there's such an insurance company like that, I'd like to know about it. But premium would be huge!
lol sometimes i joke around with my mate about pulling off an insurance job
ie: smashing into each other, or stealing our cars lol
careful kam, if insurance company reads this and something happened to your car *touch wood* they might refuse to pay.
i don't think so.the premiums would be thru the roof.:eek:Quote:

Dad's Camry V6 Touring is still going strong after 65K and I must say much more quiet than my Euro (very sad to admit). I think it was the same engine as the ES300 of the time.
