if you had the intention of tracking the car then why upgrade power first?
i got bored ;), and STOCK <--- made me do it!
Forgot Haks also pushed me!
Peer pressure kills it...
I have gt28rs with sealed internal wastegate and a 44mm HKS external wastegate + scream, and plumb back mod to interchange when i need to. ATM screamer tho :)
Or did you mean screamer on stock wastegate?
Hey Limbo I'm losing about 8kw with my current setup of the turbo intake being so close to all that heat under the bonnet..
I remember your piping goes to your front bumper like as a CAI..
Got any maps on how you setup your piping..
Last time we saw each other at Adrian's you mentioned this lol
Thanks bro
Luke
wow 8kw ..... just boost it up to make it up.
that will just blow it up.
I'll see if i have the pic.
But what i did was plumb the pipe from intercooler outlet to the bottom of car (cut out abit of the front metal) this then went up to the arm.
The intake was put thru the hole in the left chassis hole (the one that your reasonator use to be in). The front area get air from the front bar. Being boosted you don't need ramped air.
The other thing i'd recommend is make a heat shield to keep the air from going towards your intake.
Also get an oil cooler, it will help with all the heat issues. I just brought a larger one to put in.car sits all the time at 90 degrees.
Cool Limbo
So you need to cut a bit out, I looked on mine and there's no way without cutting lol
As for the oil cooler I think its a tad overboard on a street car but if ya plain to track then yeah I'd go one also...
Oh come on Benson!!
You know that any extra power is good power no matter how ya find it lol
Up the boost plus the extra 8 or so kw = more fun hehe
Hey Luke on a street can with boost, an oil cooler is good. Alot of factory cars come out with them
Pitty the compressor adds 50degs to the intake charge.
