guys,
want to fit 17" wheels to my FD1
will 17x7 +42 5x114.3 fit without any problems? Whats the size everyone using for 17's?
The lower the offset, I might encounter more problems?

omg looks blinding ...
Its not blinding at all. Like i mentioned, test it by sitting in a car and looking in the rear view mirror. No glare. Also drove down the opposite direction, also no glare. It looks blinding cos i took a photo at beam level.
With the stock headlamps, i had MTEC white halogens and OMG, that was blinding. Light was not bright but heaps of glare when looking at the rear view mirror.
u shouldah got BLUE eagleyes.. they wouldah stood out more and bin sexy as.. still these look good 2..

Popular in Asia- I always thought they would be defect material in Aus because they are blue (i.e. coppers colour)

Seriously, i recommend every civic owner to get them. Even if they werent eagle eyes, just the projector factor is A+. You will not have problems with blinding people with HIDs. Also, makes the car look sexier overall.Quote:

hasnt rained yet. Ive thrown water on it and nothing. I dont think there would be problems as people in taiwan, singapore, malaysia and thailand all had these headlamps for almost a year. If there were problems, youd hear about it.

Just some feedback on the eagle eyes for those who pm'd me.
Last night it rained pretty hard and there was no sign of water getting into the lamps. I checked under the bonnet and into the lens, no sign of water, mist, moisture etc.

Hey Shimian, I am interested in these things now.. just curious, since I have HIDs already installed for the outer beams in the front, will these fit "inside" the angel eyes? Or would I lose 'em altogether if I replaced with the projector style headlamps?

yes u can keep the same ballast and just change the bulb to H7...
not sure if you can just get a converter and keep ballast. But the headlamp uses H7 for low beams

Just wondering.. you know how you can get the accent lighting from the honda dealer (seen pictures pretty shit if u asked me).. or u can get the neon lights from like autobarn or wateva (but they look way to bright).. can you actually put the neons underneith the front seats? instead of the leg room area??

yes u can put it under the front seats. use the sticky bit to stick it and then cable ties... IMO led's from ebay are your best buy, paid $50 for 8... very VERY bright led's, ask cracker his seen em...
