Hi guys,
Just wanted to know how the side skirts are held together on an ep3, are they clips or sealant?
Im planning on spraying my skirts, front and read bar to get rid of some scratches and stone chips.
Sorry for not starting a new thread but I didn't think it was worth it. Lol.
They are clips and screws. There are 4 screws under the skirt and i think there is another 3 clips behind the type r sticker. Not sure if there is anymore

With the clips, do you just give them a hard quick pull to pop them off?
They get brittle when they get old, so the may break. If so, you can match them up at the local parts shop or get it from Honda.Quote:

FYI supercheap does not have those clips, maybe a panel beater or honda. I found that one of the clips pop off the skirt and was stuck onto the body. You need some pliers for that or some trim remover tool.
Have you tried automotive paint suppliers shops? i know V&E paint down at toongabie has alot of different clips for panels, im not sure if they will have the exact one though.
Hey tell me how the painting goes and how much it will cost, cos i need to do the exact same thing for my left side skirt.
yeah no worries.
Ive already have the primer and high fill and clear. All i will have to buy is the base coat (nho is the paint code for championship white right?) which i think is around $80 for 1 litre not including the thinners.
Ill be using dupont chroma clear with a 1.2mm gun for both clear and base coat.
if anyone want factory EP3 side type R stickers, let me know.
i bought a pair in Japan just in case i might need them later but since i'm planning to sell the car, i won't need them now.

How bad are the scratches? Just to primer or is it into the plastic?
