Hey everyone,
My rego is coming up in April and i know i'll fail if I dont replace my tyres. I have 17" rims that take 205/40/17 tyres. I was looking into using directional tyres, good grip dry and wet, for daily use, fairly quiet ride, and not thrashed ie. burn outs etc. (but I do turn hard-ish sometimes...) and only looking to spend $100-$150 a tyre not including alignment.
I've noticed that tyres become obsolete over time so a lot of this thread might be out of date, and lately it's been mainly performance related tyres discussed.
Thanks heaps for future replies!
kenske: a good budget performance tyre especially dry, and a little wet. is Kumho Escta SPT's Ku31
thanks for the recommendation "cb7 owner", looked them up on the net and seem to get good reviews for the price, now gotta shop around for the cheapest price
whats the difference between BS Grid 1, 2 and 3?
Don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have just one query, I have 16"x7" wheels. I currently have 205/45/r16 on them and I want to know if I can get 215/45/r16?? Would hey be more expensive and have more grip?? I have Dunlop Derezza DZ101 I think...
BF Goodridge - g-Force Sport - 205 40R17 = $165 per corner fitted - jax quickfit
can someone help me out pls... which tyres are better for street use?
Hankook Ventus RS-2 Z212 or Hankook Ventus S1evo K107
