EP3 Type R

Is a cat like this fine in place of the test pipe for the PLM headers? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/160899862...84.m1423.l2649

I'm more unsure about the o2 bung location, is it too near the core? most bungs i've seen start where the pipes straighten out... Also did you guys get the slip joints welded?

Hi everyone!

I'm in the market to buy a EP3R facelift model. I'll be in Sydney from 26th-31st Dec for a holiday and wedding. I'll likely be taking down cash with me to buy a car.

I have been in contact with 2 dealerships with EP3R FLs in stock - Unique Motors and IMG. I hear IMG has a very good reputation amongst Sydney enthusiasts. Anyone have any dealings with Unique Motors located on Parramatta Rd, Five Dock?

Also, would anyone here happen to be trying to sell their EP3R FL?

Hi dude,

like you said most of us have bought our EP3's from IMG with no complaints. I myself haven't dealt with Unique motor sports so I can't comment much.

Thanks Perry. You bought an EP3 from IMG? I spoke with Gavin today and he seemed pretty experienced with the EP3 and mentioned ozhonda.
One of the things I'm most worried about is parts availability, being an import and all. I live in Darwin and the shops up here have no clue...I test drove an FN2 and the sales lady didn't know anything about the car...

Alot of the K20 Engine and chassis parts are interchangeable with the DC5 and there are also lots of aftermarket availabilities. Its really only body parts that may be hard to find.

Decided to do some engine bay clean up, just wondering how do you guys clean the red rocker cover? mines got some dark dirty patches on it lol Using degreaser just made the surface turn white.

any recommendation for air con regas near cabramatta and how much?

Could go to GPC Yennora not sure if they do it anymore though.
