Would you buy another new Euro?

The earlier Camry V6s had the Lexus platform,engine,trans etc.Body made in Aust.So i think it would be the same with the Aurion.Yeah,would be int.to give one a fang.It'd go well!!!:thumbsup:

That new Aurion is quite good. In fact even the new Camry is good too. Well I reckon too much power going thru the front wheels isn't the best idea but I guess at least you get more torque (and higher fuel consumption!)

I reckon those new Toyotas look like the IS250.. :)

Great price. Would seriously consider one next time, although interior still reeks of Toyota conservatism. As for reliability, hmm... Toyota Engines and everything else breaks down too much in Formula 1 lol. Hope its not affecting their image! :o

Toyota reliability is good.IS250 is a hot looking car.Would like to take 1 of them round the block a few times.:thumbsup:

Toyota engineering is almost bulletproof (well - at least in road cars)... some of the earlier engine series (3E & 5E) could do a cam belt while running and the engine would still be fine....

But i guess so are commodore engine - my dad's had 278,000kms without a major rebuild so its how you treat them too which counts...

As for the Aurion - I am not too keen :(

Veering to the right? Probably covered in another thread but sounds like caster or camber out from kerb kissin? Frustrating I'm hearing you there. A lot of front end aligners want a quick fix with just 'toe in' adjustment or wheel swapping which wont fix it.

i went from a Ti maxima to a civic and now I'm in a Euro. I missed the luxury and now I can still have fun in the twisty stuff and have a little luxury as well. As for another Euro, "when I grow up, I want to be a LEGEND :D "

What's the latest on your drifting/pulling cgspot???

Most Toyota engines are non-interference engines. Even the nice 2zz-ge won't munch the valves if the timing chain snapped.

BTW, while I don't like the new Camry's look, the Aurion is much better looking with better quality plastics in the interior. If I was shopping in the 35-40k range, I'd seriously consider it. When I bought my Euro, the only competition was the Mazda6 and Liberty. Throw the Aurion in, and it is a whole new game as the Aurion has good fuel consumption figures when driven normally. The only downside is the auto-only transmission.

agreed lol, the new camry has been beaten by the ugly stick, at least its a bit better than the previous model. The Aurion looks champ tho..

Nice car but too big!!

Im sure the aurion is a comfortable car with more than enough power... I have my doubts as to how it handles compared to a euro though... I wouldn't trade my euro for one any day of the week
